The Soap Shack was founded in 2016 by Husband & Wife Team Candy & Gareth Goodman. Our Mission is to produce the best quality products at affordable prices. We started out with just six different soaps and have now grown to make a wide range of other products including bath bombs, soy wax candles and melts, balms, Scrubs and Solid shampoo bars. We are also working on a solid conditioning bar as well as a shaving bar for men. We are based in the pretty market town of Newcastle Emlyn in West Wales, where we hand make all our products. We are constantly coming up with new and exciting ideas to wow our customers. You Will find our Products on sale at events around the three counties, Pembrokeshire, Ceredigion and Carmarthenshire. We have recently opened a shop in our hometown of Newcastle Emlyn, where we have all our products on display for purchasing or sampling, we also have over 40 Local craftspeople who sell through the shop, there is something for everyone! We also send our products all around the UK via our website and Facebook.
Part of our mission here at The Soap Shack is to reduce the amount of plastic we use, we try to use as little none recyclable packaging as possible and encourage our crafters to do the same, All our scrubs come in PET jars which are recyclable plastic.
All of our cosmetic products are tested and skin safe, no animals were hurt in this process! Most of the soaps are vegan-friendly look for the symbol, they are also paraben free.
Something for your four-legged friends, We do a range of shampoo and paw wax for dogs! these bottles are also PET which is recyclable, our shampoos contain natural essential oils which have a calming effect while keeping the ticks and fleas at bay.
Our paw wax is jam-packed with full-on natural butters which soften the paws while creating a barrier between them and the floor, this reduces cracked, dry and uncomfortable paws, A must for any dog lovers!
